Turkish Stuffed Zucchini Recipe | Kousa Mahshi | Step by Step



STEP BY STEP RECIPE:

Ingredients
1 kg of zucchini
300 gram of ground meat (low fat)
1 small cup of broken rice
1 small cup of bulgur wheat
Half a bunch of parsley
A tuft of dill
1 table spoon of tomato sauce
2 tomatoes
1 onion
2 table spoon of cooking oil
1 dessert spoon of salt
2 dessert spoon of dry mint
Half a coffee spoon of ground black pepper
2 cloves of garlic

-Wash the zucchinis and scratch the skin. Cut the tall ones in half. Carve the insides
-Chop finely the onions and parsley, grate a tomato. Put all together into a big bowl
-Wash the rice and bulgur wheat, add it to the bowl, and mix everything up.
-Fill the zucchinis with this mix, place them into a big pot.
-Grate another tomato and two cloves of garlic, add some cooking oil and cook these together.
-Pour this sauce on the zucchinis filled with rice
-Add two glass of boiling water, put the lid on and cook for 40-45 minutes on low heat.
-You can decorate with some dill.
-Serve immediately

  2. i liked it! i added chili instead of mint and cooked the ground meat mixture first before addign it to the zucchinis. took 10min. i also kept it low carb. thanks again
