The Biggest Pros and Cons of Living in America

The Biggest Pros and Cons of Living in America

The biggest pros and cons of living in America are free water and those darned cockroaches. Only kidding. Sort of. Like most countries full of flawed people, America isn’t perfect. Among all the liberty and amber waves of grain, there are good people and bad people, good laws and bad laws, and, well, politicians. While we have an abundance of everything you can think of, like TVs, cars, and deer, we also have plenty of crime, dysfunctional politics, and an unhealthy obsession with the Kardashians. It’s not all bad though, and we’re learning just like everyone else (albeit sometimes way too slowly). Curious to find out more? Let’s take a trip across the States and learn about The Biggest Pros and Cons of Living in America!

  1. Heads up, wonderful viewers! List25 is going through some changes right now, but we can assure you that they're all positive! We'd like to produce more content, as well as provide more information.
New content is going to include specials outside of our lists, giveaways, and lists that range from 25 Items to a simple 10 Items.

Shorter lists means that more information can go into each item! So no, that wasn't an error. This video does in fact begin at Number 23. How many items there are per lists completely depends on when each writer feels as though the list is completed! We don't want to have "reach" in order to make 25 items. We want our lists to hold only important information so that both our time as content producers and your time as viewers is well spent.

And yes, we know this might be a controversial list for some but please understand that we did our best to split it evenly. We love the United States, but also recognize its flaws. We are not prejudice and respect everyone, United States Citizen or not. We had fun producing this list and above all, it's meant to entertain rather than start debates.

Have a great day and stay curious!

  2. pro – little gun violence due to gun laws being hard
pro – less gang activity due to laws pass no allowing more than 2 people in a group wear gang colours and ect.
pro – due to laws your are normals payed by the hour or salary which mean if you work in the foodservice industry you don't need tips to survive
con – racism, it happens all over the world
con – weather/ temperature depending on where you live depends on how bad the weather is.

P.S i live i australia in case was wandering about the laws

  3. 9 is subjective bullshit, americans gun control laws are more then adiquate, they have however like anything room to improve but there are groups that think 'any' legislation is bad in this are sot he topic has been in stasis for years
as to the gun crime rates, those statistics are missleading because the rate of violent crime in GENERAL has gone up, so of course the rate of gun crime went up to match
the problem, as one wise petetioner before congress put it, is not legistaliton, its scociatl decay, our culture is slowly breaking down and with less and less oversite the bad seeds are being allowed to grow to there wicked fullest and wreak there damage without being caught. till its too late.

  4. Mike is playing the politician role and Tristan the realist voter role so this could be about anywhere. Here in the UK the politicians think all is well yet most voters know that the country is on its knees….and not getting up any time soon!

  5. CON America sends millions of dollars to other countries to help when (in my opinion) the government should first help the homeless, veterans, elderly, and disabled here first before sending money elsewhere.

  6. Rebuttal to some of your cons:

Racism: not really a con since there’s always gonna be racists in any country no matter where you live

Public transportation: I agree but it depends where you live: New York, philly, San Fran and Boston have reasonable public transportation where you don’t even need a car

Gun violence: it is a problem but the majority is gang violence, even if you go to the bad areas if you mind your business you’ll be fine

Dirty cities: again depends where you live
Portland, Denver, Austin, Minneapolis, San Diego, etc have very clean cities

  7. I live in a very sleepy town. Everything one would need is no more than 5min away. We sleep with our doors unlocked and Lambos in the driveway. I love my “town”

  8. I Taught high school marketing for 36 years. I always told my students the same thing that Tristan said: decide what you wanna do and then find out what you need to do to get there. Just one young man that comes to mind that got certifications in HVAC. He works for the prison system and goes different places every week to work on their HVAC systems. He also does side work as a plumber and electrician. I’d be willing to bet that he makes more now than I did after teaching for 36 years. Good for him!

  9. I’m an American and will tell you the truth, ok the bad first, this country is not free ! Almost every is taxed , you must have a license or permit for almost everything you do! The government controls everything! Don’t be fooled! They have a cop for every business that is open! The business owner makes pennies compared to the gov paid police! This is a very corrupt country most laws are to protect government employees and politicians! Not for the average Joe! For instance if you get a bad check the police will likely do nothing, but if the state or any government officials gets a bad check, the police will be there in a timely manner with brutality! The police will talk to you as if you are scum, unless you are a councilman or elected official! Try to stay away from police, in our country there not here to help you there here to arrest you to make money for the regime! Even the littlest of offenses here mandate prison! If your a male and considering permanently living here! I warn you of marrying, the government sees it as wise to give everything to the woman! So if you get a divorce here exspect to lose everything! She will get the kids the house everything in it , she will essentially own you for the rest of your life here in the United States! You must labor and give her money every month or go to jail! You will be ordered to watch the children on weekends while she takes the money you are forced to give her by the regime to party and get laid! Every American male is emasculated here so the government can show you that the American male is less than human ! The bad is so bad I would never come here to be honest! The good, well there’s ? Um wow i don’t know anything good to be honest! The food is exspensive ,the divorce rate high, drugs are everywhere, small businesses extinct, people are greedy mean and selfish, women hate men and sex is non existent! Most married couples are unhappy. Health insurance is high, the road and bridges are poor, houses are falling down! Oh I found a good reason if your going to work for the regime you will retire with lavish pays full health care and live a good life because you were a yes man to the regime! Good luck and believe me this is all true!
