Ever wondered what the most venomous snakes in the world are? Some of the most dangerous bites in the animal kingdom come from snakes. Although not all snakes are venomous, the ones that are have the potential to inflict a death sentence within 30 minutes.
Snakes can be anywhere, from the arid deserts of Australia to the tropical backyards of Florida residents. Those who are unfortunate enough to be bitten by snakes have described agonizing snake bite symptoms such as difficulty breathing, nausea, numbness, and organ failure. It’s a relatively painful way to die. Even though we have developed anti-venom, which is responsible for the survival of many who are bitten each year, if not treated, bites from venomous snakes can still claim lives. From Russell’s Viper to the Black Mamba, these are 25 of the world’s most venomous snakes.
And just to be clear, most if not all venomous snakes are not out to get you. More often than not, they just want to be left alone. A desire you should heed if you ever come across one. That is if you value your life.

Photo 14 is not a boomslag. Boomslag is beautiful.
And what about the King Cobra?
This list is just bogus…
lol this list is so bad it isnt funny, inland taipan is the number 1 venomous snake, also coastal taipan at number 17, more like number 4. Also there is a new species of taipan found around 2015 that are the second most venomous snake, you also have the golden lancehead snakes which is also at top 8 at minimun. rattlesnakes isnt even close to top 10 and the death adder is max at 10-13 in the list.
Ya. 14 is def not a boomslang
You can't classify an entire family of snakes come on!
I've almost been bitten by a death adder and I am lucky to be alive
The two most dangerous snakes in the world are both named George Bush.
NO KING COBRA///
14 photo of boomslang is very very wrong!!!!
Where is the king cobra?
I was thinking of getting get snack but never mind ;-;
Thats not a boomslang its a python. Terrible video
This whole list was just dong water! The most worthless waste of time I've ever spent and they don't need to ever cover the topic of herpetology in any way at any point ever again!
Boo this is way off & very misleading
western taippan is not number 17
The Taipan is the most venomous snake, there is no snake that can kill 1000 people.
Not trying to say it sucks good quality but VERY WRONG LIST!!!!!!!
I see many people arguing about who is the most venomous snake in the world and that's because they are arguing different things. Actually the most " venomous " meaning injecting the most venom would usually be the king cobra. Or most venomous meaning most dangerous venom( per LD 50) goes to the inland taipan or the Belcher's sea snake depending on who you ask.The most dangerous snake would be the saw scaled viper because it kills the most people because of their nasty behavior and biting people nowhere near hospitals and anti venom. Semantics Semantics Semantics. Lol
Eastern Tiapan…no.17 ..to my knowlage they are no..3..
