How Phineas And Ferb Accidentally Created One Of The Best Star Wars Movies

The creators of Phineas and Ferb wanted to create a fun crossover, and in turn, they maybe accidentally, created one of the best modern Star Wars movies. The best Phineas and Ferb episodes are some of the most well written pieces of television in recent memory. Yet, somehow, the Star Wars cross over takes that formula and manages to make it work perfectly within the context of a new universe. Phineas and Ferb was a risk for Disney, and these two episides pushed that risk even further, and it turned out to be well worth it.

  1. This special was better then the sequels and in my opinion, the greatest Star Wars related thing that Disney had done. I haven’t seen the season of Clone Wars. It’s on my list.

  2. A lot of what this video has to say is super repetitive. Not sure if it's to fill time but maybe more content with maybe varied examples would go a long way. It should be written like an essay and good essays don't prove their points simply by repeating the thesis.

  3. They say this episode is non-canon (so just relax), but also worked extremely hard to make sure it could happen alongside SW without affecting the main plot, so I choose to believe that that means it is SW canon, bbut not PnF canon

  4. My favorite detail is that phineas and ferb are the reason why Luke wants to pick up some power converters at tache station. They say it as a reference to the movie, but in doing so before Luke tells uncle Owen that he wants to pick some up, they re contextualize the line in the movie.

  5. I laugh my head off every time when Doof is tripping over the conveyor belt whilst trying to talk to Vader and when he’s checking his timeshare on Alderaan. XD

  6. Something I really love is that Candace, Buford, and Baljeet are on a mission to buy Darth Vader some socks despite Vader not needing them and having no feet at all.

So either Vader is deterring them from the action or he wants some decorative options for his armor.
