Inside A Call Center As Pollsters Aim To Capture American Attitudes | NBC News

How is a national political poll conducted? Our Joe Fryer goes inside a Venture Data call center in Utah as interviewers conduct scripted surveys for the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. They need to survey 1,000 registered voters in just four days — a job made more difficult in the age of robocalls.

  1. Real men vote for Trump because they want to move more toward a life of self determination.
SoyBoys for for anyone else because they want to be ruled over and taken care of.
    Trump 2020

  2. Never, EVER take a poll from Venture Data! They are slanted in favor of the particular agenda of the customer paying for it. The results are skewed from the start. Just hang up on them. Don't be an a-hole to the poor soul having to work for these slobs.

  3. I have a degree in Political Science and one in US history … one thing I learned in college is that polling is generally done to create news, not actually reflect news.
It's all in how you ask a question. Most polling groups are Democrat owned. They'll ask something like "should impeachment trials have witnesses ?" 90% of people will say "yes" … and then the media spins it to negatively reflect on Donald Trump. The media will pretend like none were called…. even though the Democrats controlled House has already called 17 witnesses and they chose NOT to call any more.

  4. i remember when these same polls said Clinton was gonna win in a landslide, who are these people who answer random phone calls and HAS 15 min. in the MIDDLE of the day to answer?

    think about it!

  5. It might be because most people hate mainstream media's ongoing bias. Just a tiny reason why most people were mad at your phone calls. Just a guess, since journalism is so dignified these days.

  6. I used to work for this company. They always claimed they don't do push polls but 90% of the political polls I did were full of leading questions phrased to just skirt shy of the label "push poll".
