  1. No…it was such a close game it could have went either way….no coach makes perfect decisions…a break here or there the outcome is different. Jimmy G was unproven and up against maybe the best QB in the league…KC was just more ready to play. They executed when needed.

  2. This guy disagreeing with running the football makes a great show and that is what it is all about making a great show. He knows that they should have ran the ball but is disagreeing just to create a show.

  3. It was a combination of things, Jimmy choked some, Chiefs made some key plays on defense. I had no problem with Shanahans play calling on the last few drives. Chiefs got more aggressive and Jimmy missed some key opportunities. Shanahan was calling the same plays that had got them the 20-10 lead in the first place. Could he have called another reverse to Deebo, maybe, but his run game feeds off the play action as much as the other way around.

  4. 2nd and 5, 6:53 to go in the Super Bowl. You got 5 yards running the ball on the previous play. Dan Orlovsky, YOU RUN THE BALL! You keep the clock moving, force the Chiefs to use their timeouts, get a couple of first downs, raise the trophy, smoke cigars, and drink champagne. Dan, IT'S SIMPLE!!!

  5. If Jimmy G had completed that pass in the 4th Qtr the 9ers might have won – imagine that – just one pass! & how many interceptions did Mahomes have? What if Mahomes threw a pick at the end? – it was that close
I agree with Greenberg – he did it again! He did the same thing that he did in the last SuperBowl when he was the Atlanta Offensive coordinator – got too cute
There again the total blindness to see the big picture – your defense is dead-tired – they would not be able to stop Tom Brady with 4 downs to get 10 yards – he should have known that – or at least his head coach should have and overruled his pass play – there again the first down run got i think 6 yards?
2 more runs might have netted the 4 yards or at least run down the clock or made Belicheck use all his timeouts meaning Brady would be throwing to the sidelines
And here he did it again!
Again the blindness not to see that his defense is tired – would not be able to keep up with the Chiefs speedy receivers
Got 5 yards on first down and then again got cute
The last one his QB got sacked, there was an offensive line hold and goodbye field goal and less time off the clock
This time passes get batted down, the QB does not see wide open receivers(can't blame the QB for the last one though – it is hard to see everything – remember we are sitting at home watching TV which shows the picture from up above, the QB is down there has to see over all the players in front of him)

  6. 100% Blame.. G you already knew is not a go get a championship QB so that was no surprise..
The surprise was Shamehan did not learn from his past failures and was afraid of losing the SUPERBOWL rather then just going out there and WIN it… his decisions reflected that..

  7. If it was the other way around! Andy would have used them timeouts for mahomes to get another td or fg! Thats how you know shannon didnt really trust jimmy and his team!

  8. I agree tho! The run was the best option but the chiefs were stopping the run after a while! It was a 60% chance! But shannon was getting scared! So it was better to run the ball! But chiefs knew what they were going to do! So idk!
