– The death rate of an overweight person who exercises regularly is half of the death rate of a person who falls into the standard weight category.
– There is a list of more than 20 chemicals that have been approved to be put in organic food production by US Organic Standards.
It must also be kept in mind that despite regulations, even organic food is susceptible to chemical flow from fields or nearby factories.
– There are 64 calories in one tablespoon of honey and 49 calories per tablespoon of sugar.
– More people catch a cold in the winter as we spend more time indoors which is good for viruses because they can spread easier.
– In fact, chicken broth makes you feel warm on the inside working as a placebo. It doesn’t actually cure anything.
– The presence of vitamin A in carrots can help improve your eyesight, but it’s merely a myth that it can help you obtain night vision.

– Microwaves do not cause cancer, and this has been confirmed by some of the top researchers. If we look at the heating method of microwaves, we’ll see that they produce radiation that heats up the water molecules present in the food, thus making it warm.
– The probiotics have slowly entered our systems, and they’re ruling it. These probiotics are said to be the “good kind of bacteria” which helps regulate our gut. However, when your body is already full of different kinds of bacteria, how can it be determined that it’s the bacteria coming from yogurt that is helping?

– Anyone who has seen The Sixth Sense is convinced that humans have only five senses. It turns out that we possess more than 20 extra senses.
– Chocolate fans will love this. No, chocolate doesn’t cause acne. Too much oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells do.
– Most of the blind people sometimes actually miss being able to see darkness. It’s incorrect to believe that blind people cannot see anything at all.
– Stretching before a workout may make you less efficient. As per Italian researchers, overstretching before running or cycling may reduce your efficiency by as much as 5%.
– There are some health conditions requiring you to increase your salt intake. Low salt levels can lead to the probability of diabetes, increased fat storage.
– There are five tastes instead of 4. The fifth taste is umami, which is like the taste of glutamate.

  1. You shouldn't stretch before exercising because overstretching can be detrimental? Does that also mean you should never sleep because oversleeping can increase fatigue? Just because there are conditions that require an increased salt intake, doesn't mean salt doesn't increase blood pressure. In almost all of these, BS draws a different conclusion from what was argued in these studies. Also, never take single studies to heart in the first place.

Thanks for another BS video BS.

  2. The way the information here is delivered is almost in a way to suggest to people who are unhealthy with unhealthy habits give them a way of arguing of why they are the way they are unfortunately a lot of these things just are not true

  3. Some people claim when you regularily water a plant with microwaved water (after cooldown), it won't survive for long…
If that's true, why should I belive microwaves have no bad effect on the food?

  4. The same countries with the highest dairy consumption also have the highest rates of osteoporosis. We don’t absorb calcium from cow’s milk and the sulphuric acid in it steals calcium.

  5. From where do you get these pointless studies…milk is only bad for the people with lactose and casein intolerance….otherwise its a complete food with the exception of iron.

  6. FACT: Do not believe some of the myths/facts on the internet, as some of these myths are superstitious. Do not trust anyone except KidsLearningTube and me. – Article "Health Myths" ©JGPedia

  7. U r so wrong about milk. Several studies have shown it to be a rich source of calcium which helps in maintaining healthy bones. Plz double check your facts first before spreading them.

  8. I like it how the stuff Bright side shows in this video is true but at the same time have negative impact on the body, which there are two options: 1: Bright Side doesn't know it or 2: They know it, but they just want the thumbs up…. i think it's number 2 😀 For example: yeah, chocolate itself doesn't give you akne, but it's the carbohydrates that does it… if you don't like chocolate, try with eggs… if you consume too much (don't try this with eggs.. you might end up in hospital)… well say hi to the pimples 🙂

  9. Honey has nutritional value, unlike processed white cane sugar, which is just empty calories. Also, probiotics and live active cultures in yogurt can most definitely improve your digestion, and are especially helpful after completing a round of antibiotics.
