Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has denied all rumours of a lockdown that have been circulating on social media.
According to a press release issued by CM House, Shah said: "Neither is there a situation for a lockdown nor is there anything to worry about.
"All government steps are precautionary."
He said some "elements" on social media were asking people to gather ration which he said were "unnecessary".
Shah added that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has asked the chief secretary to write a letter to the FIA to register cyber crime cases against those who are spreading rumours.
"The people should be confident that their government has the ability to solve all problems," he said.

What is wrong with the lockdown. We are moving towards a lockdown anyway. Better do it before the crisis exacerbates. Do it soon before it is too late.
Be down more but, one thing is decided also because, peoples have been under upset from big disease as well, the situations of coronavirus suddenly can’t lockdown him.
When they all died coronically then stringent implementation will have occurred
