The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 52, out of which 34 are from Sindh.
About 13 people from Sukkur, who recently arrived from Taftan, have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, spokesperson for the Sindh government Barrister Murtaza Wahab said.
“These people were purportedly kept in quarantine at the border," he tweeted.
Earlier in the day, the Sindh health department had reported four new cases in Karachi.
Three of the patients had recently returned from Saudi Arabia, while one has no recent travel history, said Meeran Yousuf, the media coordinator to the health minister.
Meanwhile, Lahore Health Secretary Mohammad Usman confirmed the first case of coronavirus in Lahore, Punjab.
