SUMMARY
-Add some peppermint oil to your cleaning solution and mop your floor with it to wipe away ant trails.
-Lemon basil and cinnamon basil can effectively repel the Anopheles gambiae complex, a group of mosquito species known to carry malaria.
-Lavender scent can protect your home, pets, and other plants from being infested by bugs.
-According to research, nepetalactone, the essential oil in catnip that your kitty loves so much, acts as an irritant against these common household pests.
-Rosemary is commonly used in cooking and has medicinal properties. It also attracts butterflies but deters flies and mosquitoes.
-Apply a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil to some cotton balls and put them in areas where you often find spiders.
-Mix baking soda with sugar, and place a bowl of water near it. This lethal trio creates a chemical reaction inside the roaches’ stomach, which, let’s just say, won’t end well for the little buggers.
-Marigold contains pyrethrum, a compound that’s commonly found in commercial bug sprays.
-Put original scented dryer sheets in these places to keep mice out.
-Protect yourself and your family by setting traps with peanut butter for mice and rats.
-Mouse-proof your house by placing sheets of aluminum foil in their hideouts.
-Try ultrasonic repellents if you’re willing to spend the money. These things emit high-frequency sounds that are only sensitive to a mouse’s ears.
-Borax is used as a cleansing agent and in glass-making. It can also kill ants, roaches, termites, spiders, and even mold.
-Use steel wool or copper mesh to mouse-proof your house and seal the deal with caulking.
-If you need to keep wild animals out of your garden, cayenne pepper is a perfectly safe way to keep them at bay. Sprinkle it on the topsoil to keep rabbits and squirrels from munching on your fresh veggies.
-Burning neem leaves gives about 76% mosquito protection for up to two hours. You can also heat the leaves up for 25% protection.
-Another plant that’s proven to fend off mosquitoes is lemon thyme. Smash it and apply it to your skin after running a test on a small area.

The best smell is Skunk. It fckn stinks.
oh yes
Tea tree oil is great for fleas ! 1-2drops in a spray bottle with water and you can spray everything. Mattresses, flooring, blankets, pets……….
So the only thing that worked for me is marigold and mint for mosquitoes. But you have to make essential oil and actually put it on you like OFF! My cat is the only thing that helped with mice.
Not just mice, my neighbours love peanut butter!
you forgot vinegar
Yes, ultrasonic repellents do work. Ive lived in yhe same apartment complex for 8 years. Our unit is right next to the dumpsters. In the winter the rats come in the walls to try and stay warm. Each time we have had a problem I plug in little round ultrasonic repellants from home depot and within 1 day the rats move out and dont come back. If I unplug them then after about 4-5 days they are back again .
Do you know something to repell cats?
NOT TRUE FOR MICE ALL U SAID!!
Were you not ashamed to make video with such misleading contents?!check your facts!!
hahaha.. rats and insects loves to eat my mint, basil and other herb plants..
When they scratch, scratch right back.
It may take a couple of days but they get scared and leave. I think they think there's something big on its way.
Clove Oil! Mice and ants are staying out of my life for the clove oil cotton in the holes. Yes!
Squirrels like peanut butter
Ohh i love this
Oh…I never thought that baking soda is a plant…
Now I know…hahaha
Hi. Can you please tell about bed bugs because it is so annoying .
I want in
the baking soda and sugar mixture works on ants. We use it whenever we have ants. Just make an equal mixture of both sugar and baking soda and sprinkle where you see ants. Also sprinkle on ant hills in your yard.
Most ultra-sonic repellants DO NOT WORK.
Cinnamon is also a good barrier for ants
Look is Tom and Jerry
Cayenne pepper worked in Arkansas, on ants, NOT in Arizona. I even bought a new bottle in case it was old. nope. Guess they were used to the heat. 😉
This was not in the video, but I want to mention that Sandalwood oil does not repel mosquitos (in my experience). I still got bit several times as a kid with it on.
The mice made nests in the bounce fabric softener sheets in our holiday trailer
The pest control company my apartment landlord uses told me that over the counter bug spray has something in it that keeps bugs coming back. That way you keep buying it.
Dryer sheets keep spiders away too
Betlals .
I have tried most of these solutions, none will keep the pests away. Cayenne will only make a mess, the ants just walk all over the baking soda, essential oils dont last long, neither do the herbs. I'm just going to have to use poison this year, nature does not provide well for pests.
I've got a mint plant it doesn't repel anything!
