Without commenting on the merit of evidence of the case,I must find myself clueless why such a spate of allegations after two decades? No doubt, the rapes are the worst crimes and must not be committed, ever,on women. But,there must be some sort of trustworthiness and reasonable thing, too, when decades-old matter is resorted to.I remember one particular allegation against the Bollywood ex-star,Jeetender,having been in such a charge by his own cousin some 45 years later. The venue and the records of that hotel room had been destroyed by then and the veteran actor was subjected to unnecessary infamy. So,please, never, ever, feel reluctant to leave some guilty.Simulataneously, never, ever, charge someone with something that does not inspire trust and becomes a tool to harass some respectable guy.Rapes are, definitely,to be punished.But,character-assassination,too,cannot be appreciated.
I don’t understand why does it take decades for women to speak up.
It only strengthens the narrative of their opposition.
While I believe that if the allegations are true, it should be dealt with lawfully and perpetrators be punished to the extreme extent.
Meanwhile Huznoor and alot more like her, rest in peace in their grave.
Couldn’t it be possible that his onscreen life had an impact on his real life. Afterall,he played the role of psychopath in all the episodes of 70s show that run for almost a decade. He was regarded a bad influence all along… Just saying…
