Beautiful and graceful

Amazing story!
I was a big fan of Evonne during her playing days ….. Such a wonderful graceful player a joy to watch.
Love this video
A great role model for indigenous people, like Britons in the UK.
Thanks newer knew about Evonne GC… 14 Grand Slams that's great.
These Wimbledon videos really pull at your emotions. What an inspiration.
Awesome story, well done for the work!
It's a Shame her own country is still screwing her over by not give her a Stadium with her own name.
Such a strong message of positive feminism
Much better player than Margaret Court
Her dream came true twice and what about 1980´s pearl! It’s still the nightmare of Chris Evert!
5:00 Beautiful shot
Didnt know Barty was indigenous as well
The most graceful woman ever to play professional tennis; she moved like a cat. As with Federer, I could just watch her play all day.
It would have been foolish to let anyone else narrate this, wonderful piece for an important player
Evonne Goolagong was the first tennis girl i had a crush on. An important role in that played her name…. Evonne GOOLAGONG…. i had never heard a name as beautiful as hers before, an Australian name that sounded like magic to me.
Graceful as Bueno
Great story. What a way to move on the court !!! Like floating. Very gifted player!
Am I the only one who doesn’t understand a thing what Barty sayd ?
I'm sorry, she would what and volley?
I'd love to see more of Evonne. My sister and I were huge fans, as many people in Pittsburgh PA during her career. 1970 was a long time ago (I was 14), but she triggered my becoming a serious tennis fan. I believe she came to Pittsburgh a few times, maybe an exhibition match or two. A lovely and inspiring woman !
I'm sorry but no tennis club of which I have ever been a member would have failed to let her in on the grounds alleged herein.
I still get goosebumps when I watch her play. Lucky to have seen her play just the one time in Toronto.
Such a humble and elegant champion!
I love Evonne Sing A Long Goolagong. She use to drive Chris crazy in the waiting room when singing. Lol Psyched her out.
Happy Birthday Evonne on July 31!
Indigenous pride! What a great player, just the loveliest footwork and slice volleys.
I still watch some of her greatest matches. Magnificent player and beautiful player. The best.
This moves me so much. Maybe it’s because I’m watching this from Australia. What foresight from the Wimbledon boss to let her “in”.
