Yūsuf ibn Yaʿqūb ibn Isḥāq ibn ʾIbrāhīm (Arabic: يُوسُف ٱبْن يَعْقُوب ٱبْن إِسْحَاق ٱبْن إِبْرَاهِيم) is a prophet mentioned in the Quran, and corresponds to Joseph (son of Jacob), a person from the Tanakh, the Jewish religious scripture, and the Christian Bible, who was estimated to have lived in the 16th century BCE. It is one of the common names in the Middle East and among Muslim nations. Of all of Jacob's children, Joseph was the one given the gift of prophecy.
Yusuf’s new master, who had no children, was completely taken with Yusuf. He told his wife to take good care of Yusuf and they could either use him as slave or take him for a son. Yusuf not only grew up to be a handsome young man but was also blessed with exceptional knowledge and wisdom by Allah.
Hazrat Yousuf A.S wanted to meet his father, mother, and young brother Benjamin. The brothers went back, told the family about the demand and eventually, the eleven brothers returned with their mother and father. The brothers bowed Hazrat Yousuf A.S and Hazrat Yousuf A.S made his father sit on the throne.
