Cristiano Ronaldo has become the all-time leading scorer in football history with his goal for Juventus in their 2-0 win over Napoli in the Italian Supercoppa final.

The 35-year-old smashed home from a rebound from a corner in the 64th minute to give his side the lead and in turn, sensationally score the 760th goal of his professional career.

The feat takes him above former Austrian-Czech player Josef Bican, who records show netted 759 times.

And Ronaldo is also now three clear of Brazilian legend Pele and 41 clear of long-time rival Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo's unbelievable haul includes goals he has scored for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juve and the Portuguese national team.

Ronaldo also added another trophy to his cabinet with Alvaro Morata adding a second late on to seal the Supercoppa victory.

It means he has now won four titles with Juventus – two Serie As and two Supercoppas.

And he won't want to stop there, with Juve in fifth but instill in contention for another Scudetto.

He and his side's priority will no doubt be the Champions League, however, and they will have a good chance of progressing through the knockout stages when they face Porto in the last-16 next month.

In total Ronaldo has scored 488 goals with his right foot, with 138 coming with his left and 131 with his head.

And he hasn't relied too heavily on penalties either, with only 17.5% of his total coming from the spot.

It remains to be seen if Messi can eventually score more, with the six-time Ballon d'Or winner two years younger than Ronaldo.

Ronaldo and his Juventus team are next in action on Sunday when they take on Bologna in Serie A before a Coppa Italia quarter-final against SPAL the following Wednesday.
