Kitten plays fetch better than most dogs

Ever since she was a kitten, this cat absolutely loved to play fetch. At first she would play with an used dish sponge, but now her owners have given her an actual cat toy to play with.

  1. 0:19 hahaha. One of my cats fetches. It's super convenient—and terribly cute! Foil balls, rubber bands, and hair elastics. She initiates it too. I'll sit at my desk and then I hear a little 'plonk', i.e. she has dropped a foil ball by me and she wants me to throw it. Cats! It's very unusual for cats to do this though. (I say this as someone who works as a cat sitter. :))

  2. I don't think I've ever seen such a highly viewed video with 0 dislikes! I'm sure there will be sometime later on but it's the first time I've ever seen that happen, not a single one!

  3. My cat does the same thing. I've also trained him to use the toilet instead of a litter box. I taught him to flush, but he wouldn't associate using the toilet with flushing and as a result he would just flush the toilet over and over again and watch the water for entertainment. I actually had to remove the handle of the toilet and rig up an electronic solution.

  4. My cat, a Bengal adult male named Federico Secondo, insists on playing fetch with me every day. He taught me the game, not the other way around. His thing is those big rubber bands–6 for a buck at the dollar store–which women and girls use to tie up their hair. The darned thing are all over the house, and when he wants to play the game he'll bring me one and put it either in my lap or at my feet. Too much fun!

  5. It isn't just your cat. I had a male DSH tuxedo pattern tabby. Not only did he play fetch but if someone knocked on the door he'd growl at the door. Now I had this cat since he was a kitten so where he learned that I have no idea.
