  1. You mean a single pigeon can take out an entire engine? My kitchen blender can make clay out of bricks. I'm surprised a turbine engine can't turn a bird into powdery mist without breaking.

  2. i guess i can write a possibility incorrect answer that is more simple:
    an airplanes engine is strong enough to withstand at least 1 or 2 small or medium birds. if a bird that is large hits the engine, there is a possibility that the engine will catch fire. with the pilots knowledge, the pilots will extinguish the fire, and they will divert to the nearest airport.

    reply if i left anything wrong or if its incorrect, im tired and didn't feel like thinking of the entire thing.

  3. Why does airplane not provide mesh as the turbine engine cover. I don't know I am no engineer. But there must be explanations about this.
