UNMISSABLE Wales v England Tries!

Wales will take on England in the Six Nations tomorrow at the Millennium Stadium, re-igniting a fierce rivalry between the two countries. We have seen World Cup classics between the two sides in years gone by, and here we count down our top 5 tries from those unmissable contests. Featured in this video: Jonny May (England), Gareth Davies (Wales), Will Greenwood (England)

  1. Obviously these were all World Cup tries and I'd pick the last one by Stephen Jones for the pace and handling alone. But of all the Wales v England tries I have to pick Ray "Chico" Hopkins late, late winner at Twickenham in 1970 from 1 yard out, converted by JPR for a 14-13 lead – Barry John's drop goal in injury time was the icing on the cake. This was Chico's only game (20 mins) for Wales after coming on as a sub for and then remaining in the shadow of Gareth Edwards. Now that's history.

  2. Best moments – Jason Robinson's electric turn of pace and Shane William's dainty foot steps and pace – awesome. 2 of the best teams on the planet. Love rugby and love the good nature of the game.

  3. Robinson's run will NEVER be beaten in terms of skill and pace, whatever the Welsh say and moan about, but was number 3 as he didn't score the try I say. Even as an England fan, Jones's try at 1 was incredible!
