  1. The narrative of Putin’s Russia expansionism is a bit of a stretch especially since majority of their rural areas are under populated, under-developed and under serviced. His ‘expansionism’ is only in response to US mobilization in the area.

  2. Putin do want to expand his spire of influence and want more than Crimea to control the oceans and the territories next to Russia. He will try to invade Ukraine again along with other countries also in the future if he is still in power, but for now is just sitting back and watching what NATO nations are doing and how much effort they are investing in Ukraine.

  3. Putin is a patriot and a successful leader. He is doing very well for the the wellness of Russia and i hope it will be united to be USSR again soon.

  4. They said that the Communist Bloc was the threat to world peace back then. I agree, human rights violations are inexcusable. But after 1991 nobody can deny that the Western Bloc are the new threat.

  5. Dear Palki, You have missed a few importend points:
1). Russia has ridden over many nations around, all over the history, from north to south of Europe and Asia,
including Scandinavian countries, Letland, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine…
2). Russia started the very war Putin speaks about altogether with Nazi-Germany to take over that what has left of Polen after WW1: 1 September 1939.
3). Created freaking mess all over eastern and central Europe during and after WW2 – yes, just check the history records!!!
4). Without Western-Front Soviets Union would never "win" WW2….

    I can count way more…

And so, from the perspective of many of those countries Russian Government was, and still is an essential threat to the very existance / independence of those countries!!!
So yes, many preffers to be a member of NATO: history has taught them very severe lesson!!!

And Communistic or Nationalistic Russia makes NO difference
    – ANYBODY opposing Russian Gov. goes to gulag, is poisoned or shot!!!

Friendly advise, keep it in mind when askin': मुझसे दोस्ती करोगे?

  6. Putin lost a brother during the siege of Leningrad and his parents almost died too from starvation, they had too little to eat. And this repeats on ALL families. Everybody lost one family member at least, some families were exterminated completely.

  7. 25 years not 10. Read a book. Stalin was planning on war in 1943.
Moscow and Stalingrad did not happen at the same time.
Moscow, operation Typhoon, was in Oct41 to 5Dec1941. Then the Soviets counterattacked. Pushing the Germans back.
Stalingrad, operation Blue. Started in Jun1942 and reached Stalingrad in late Aug1942. The Soviets countered on 19Nov1942 and surrounded the 6th Army on the 22Nov1942. The 6th Army surrendered in Feb1943. In Jul1943 the last Nazis offensive was stopped and from that point on they only headed back.
