  1. Can we please stop comparing these young players and putting all of this pressure on these players to live up to someone need didn't even see play the game!

  2. you guys dont understand that the media is the biggest bandwagonner by nature lol just look up the superlatives sprinkled on the Heat last year

  3. No fashion sense lol he was saying his was a polo style shirt(which has about 3 buttons at the top) and booker’s shirt was a button up(which has buttons all the way down) ….. not name brand flexing smh

  4. Unless I missed it, I’m not calling him the next David Robison or Hakeem. You gotta show me more than just catching lobs at 7’0 tall. ESPN is getting thirsty. I can’t take them serious. I forgot Mitchell is already the greatest jazz player after 4 seasons. Lol

  5. Y’all be wilding because they compare players to older generations they been doing this they said Jordan was go be the next dr j they say any white boy with a shot can be the next bird you compare the new to the old we all talk about how Kobe was the closest thing to Jordan when everybody thought he was go be a bust before they started winning in the finals like that. And if you listen they say the next or reminds me of a player but remember all the NBA players we love as the GOATS started with 0 titles and worked they way up

  6. I know I'm dating myself when I say this, but honestly, the closest comparison I think there is to Ayton right now is Artis Gilmore. Artis was an elite rebounder most of his career and when he played on teams with talent, slotted into being a respectable 2nd or 3rd option on offense. He ran the floor well as a tall but lean big man and pretty much had little range past 10 feet, but was effective in the post and was an great finisher at the rim. Defensively, Gilmore is well ahead of where Ayton is now at their respective ages, but offensively, they're similar.

  7. Stop it already…biased espn and biased NBA….if flopping acting Mr State Farm 16 year vet no finals wasnt a Nba boy toy, maybe just maybe Milwaukee Bucks can get some respect…all we hear about is Phoenix Suns Suns…..Bucks in 6

  8. THEY COMPARED HIM TO AN…
    NBA MVP
    NBA SCORING CHAMPION
NBA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
    10 TIME ALL STAR
    4 TIME ALL-NBA TEAM
I’LL STOP THERE AS LONG AS YOU PEOPLE STOP THE COMPARISONS.

  9. WE COULD EVEN IMPLEMENT TIME TRAVEL IN THIS DISCUSSION. IF YOU PLACE AYTON IN DAVID’S ERA, HE’D BE OLDEN POLYNICE!!! IF YOU PLACED DAVID IN THIS ERA, THEY’D HAVE TO ALTER THE RULES TO KEEP THINGS COMPETITIVE!!!!!!

  10. For fucks sake people, the NBA is different than it was when the Admiral was playing. I didn’t hear Perk say he was better or a carbon copy, he said he was the next Admiral.

Meaning If he keeps improving as he has each year, that his skill set/performance will be reminiscent of David Robinson in the confines of TODAYS NBA.
