Zara Rutherford is attempting to become the youngest woman to fly solo around the world. The 19-year-old is due to take off soon on what is expected to be a three-month journey to dozens of countries. DW has caught up with her.

  1. Thousands of tonnes of CO2 emissions, just to feed Zara's entitled ego: who cares how old she is, does she really need to fly around the world? No.

  2. I'm 80 years old and wanted to do what this girl is doing. I didn't have the ability to follow my dreams so I am going to live vicariously through her flight and experiences.

  3. Even before i watch this, i knew the person is either US or EU citizen. Why not ask how she handle her visa? And border crossing these countries? guess it doesnt come to mind for EU and US citizen since they can go anywhere without worry about visa.
