After almost two decades of fighting and millions of lives lost, the Vietnam war came to an end in 1975. Hardly anyone believed that after 19 years of bitter fighting, the conflict would be resolved in just two months. In March 1975, the strength and superiority of the South Vietnamese forces gave the impression that the conflict was still far from over. Yet, on the last day of April the North Vietnamese flag was waving in Saigon.

  1. Lesson here:
    1. Do not, DO NOT embezzle any American's money not even one coin. The communist regime after 1975 is far more brutal and corrupt than the South Vietnam government, but it still can live long. Why? Because it just take out vietnamese money not from American taxpayer.
    2. If you can choose friend, do not choose US. Because they are very good at abandon their allies.
From a vietnamese young person, who is struggling under communist domination.

  2. fall of saigon caused a time change and now im in the usa without money and i should be in vietnam just doing vietnamese stuff (most of my ancestry was born in vietnam)

  3. President Thieu said that I would fight to the end if the communists entered Saigon but he did not, he gave up his country, his people. It was the failure of a puppet government backed by the US
