  1. Using ULQ with high performance device, yes you'll get high fps. Using ULQ for it's intended potato laptops or poor performance device, you'll still get 10-30 fps only. Finance? Get a high performance laptop? Currency and employment rate at each continent are different. Let us ULQ players play in peace

  2. Everyone complaining about ULQ, but nobody understands THAT THE PEOPLE WHO USE THIS SETTING DONT HAVE FUCKING 4k 36 METER WIDE MONITORS. Try playing this game on something that can barely display 720ppi THEN COME TELL ME ITS A HUGE ADVANTAGE

  3. Meh… I prefer to be bad at the game but have my game look awesome. That works for any game. Never understood how you can play a game sub-ultra quality on a powerful PC when you can go higher in settings.
    If you want that, go play on consoles.

    I'd go as far as saying I'd rather have 30 FPS ultra than 60+ FPS low. I usually get 60+ FPS Ultra anyway as I have 1080p monitors and I use Vsync with their 75Hz refresh rate, I don't care gettting 300+ FPS when I can't actually see them, plus latency is not relevant as I'm a noob in multiplayer games anyway.

    But heck, even when I tried (not really played) CS-GO, I had to go with ultra settings. Especially since that game can easily run 100+ FPS in ultra on basically any half-decent PC.

  4. The thing is, i get why ultra low quality is a thing. For the longest time i HAD to run on pretty low settings for damn near everything because i didnt have a very good PC, so of course i get why such settings need to be a thing.
    HOWEVER, it is ENTIRELY possible to have ultra low quality settings, but still let models render in like walls and bushes. Its not hard, and its not graphically challenging, so there is no excuse for this type of unfair advantage.

  5. just turning down draw distance is enough, I used to lower the draw distance on Battlefield so when I was sniping I could easily see the other snipers, thinking they were covered by the bushes when the bushes didn't show up for me. In most games draw distance affects clutter and while players stay visible.

  6. i used to play wwiionline on my toaster i couldnt see the tree's bushes, sounds great till u shoot and hit the tree 2 ft infront of you. It worked out every once in a great while could shoot almost anyone if they was in a field i couldnt see either

  7. So THIS is why I keep getting hit by bullshit shots on maps with scenery…
    And why aircraft spot me so easily…
    And why I'm only good at like 3 maps…
    And why I've all but given up as anything besides AAA…
    When the fuck are they gonna fix this? I wanna play Tank again, but fair and square, and without the game looking like N64, or my ass getting sniped through a whole ass forest.

  8. It's a disgusting advantage. Full stop indeed. Even for an intermediate kinda casual "now and then" player like me. I just find the game so ugly to look at. I prefer max quality since it's really nice… But it's obscene how much harder it is to spot targets. And you can very easily tell who's playing on ultra low on very large open maps. I've done it. I'll probably do it again when I get fed up with it but it's almost like cheating.

  9. So many advantages and cheats based on 4k and people with more expensive computers. Nobody talks about it. Tons of statfakers being "youtubers" only based on this. Pay to win as usual.

    Stop equating, opinions, facts and value claims they are not the same thing.
    Opinions are always 100% correct. If it can be wrong its not an opinion full stop.

    Facts are independently verifiable and only state observations.

    Value claims inform you how you should react given the situation at hand. If a goal has been stated you can objectively determine if a value claim is correct or not there is no wiggle room.
    Without an objective no value claim has any merit.

    Opinions state things that would be facts but are not independently verifiable. Likening a certain color or the taste of a certain food.
    Because the opinion says nothing about whether you should like it or not that makes it an opinion instead of a value claim.

    Example for ULQ.
    Fact ULQ gives players more information than max settings.

    If the goal is makeing the battle as even as possible on all graphics settings.
    Value claim ULQ needs to be adjusted so that the information level is equal between all players.

  11. One thing bothers me more than anything. The grass. players shouldn't be able to remove them completely. There should be at least around their tanks. Removeing the grass completely gives players a huge advantage when firing from hills, they could leave a setting to control de range at which the grass renders, but should not let people remove it completely. Just by seeing a small grass close to their vehicles would make everyone expose the same on elevations.

  12. Whenever i saw lots of enemy tanks on an open fields sitting duck… I always think like, why dont they take cover near houses instead. They're lucky im not good at firing guns, i missed a lot.

    I always thought that my friend was kinda "play blind" and now i know why… my team mates just cant see them at all due to the bushes, particles (sand storm, etc).

    Its hard to say that i misused the ulq, because even though i use ulq, my laptop still overheat most of the time. Hey, 60%+ of WT player runs in potato pc.
