The Quarter-Final game between Australia and Scotland in 2015 went right down to the wire! With little over 5 minutes left in the game Scotland took the lead and it went right to the final minute as Australia had a penalty to win it. 1. The Scottish got robbed of a semi-final over the wallabies because Craig Joubert didn't wanted to check the video when he was clearly wrong. I mean it's not the first time, he already robbed France in the 2011 Final smh.

  2. As a sa'n we feel for scotch but i can assure u is was not on purpose, but it sucks… We know 2011 exit by referee in quoters and sa won nz the game before wcup and French was not good and lost the final with 1point……even though yes scotch was ript, buy not by purpose its a stupit rule by world rugby not stopping the match and giving other officials rights to intervere with crucial mistakes like this….. Craig exit refereeing after that he also are very disappointed in himself by that mistake… We as sa love underdogs winning the big bigger teams there was no aim for craig to do it by tolerating.

  3. Outcome of this game was the lack of verification process World Rugby has of referree decision making while the game is ongoing. NFL gives a team the right to challenge or review a play if needed. Not sure why Rugby has still not adopted this given its historical drama of games that fall right to the wire ending with bad judgment.

  4. I am an Australian Scotsman, and I truly love both teams with a passion, but honest truth is that Joubert had a very bad game, resulting in three more points to Australia than they deserved, and 9 more points to Scotland than they deserved. Fair result at the end of the day.

  5. Arrr the only way for aus to win hay cheat. The Australia guy touched that ball and hit it back into the Scottish player’s hand that is play on it the rule book. i would like to see an honest game out of them yet.

  6. Definitely not a penalty. Knock on occurs first as ball contacts Wallaby 9. That was harsh – I remember watching this. Maybe WR should do a reel on controversial decisions during RWC. Be interesting to see if rugby has evolved in the right way with regards to officiating.
