Why would the propeller on a P-3 Orion stop rotating? It may look like an accident, but it’s #NotWhatYouThink #NWYT #shorts

  1. We often shut down two engines, allowing us to loiter on station after setting up a string of sonobuoy listening devices. We were listening for, and tracking Russian submarines. Same Russia that's about to invade Ukraine.

  2. Recite kalma Shahadat to accept Islam and Obey Prophet MUHAMMAD (PBUH) to achieve your own Heaven also forgivness from ALLAH at the day of Judgement. Convey this message to others Stay Blessed Ameen…

  3. In the Coast Guard, and had an opportunity to fly as Cargo on a C-130, right as they were transitioning from the H to J model. There were around 70 cadets jammed in the back knee to knee on the paratrooper webbing seats, flying from Connecticut to Scotland to meet our training ship. About two hours in, we look out the window and see one of the propellers stop turning. The pilots say they can make it across the pond on three engines, but since the plane is new and they’re not too experienced with it yet; it was safer to declare an emergency and land in Halifax. We do, and wait around for the pilots to figure out what’s wrong; and they tell us they need to get a part shipped from base, and now that they’re on the ground, they don’t have enough power to take off, get to altitude, and make it across on three engines; so we HAVE to wait for the part. So we got a free 30 hours of liberty in Halifax before having to fly across again.
