Motorcycle Champion Rates 10 Motorbike Stunts In Movies And TV | How Real Is It?
source
I’m glad to see him looking healthier in this vid, it was quite concerning when he said that his health is actually deteriorating due to his chronic fatigue syndrome
I think it's probably more apropriate to say that he used to tame dragons for a living
Taking these with a pinch of salt. Cruise did ride the bimmer and almost scraped his knee. The T2 jump was real (look at the the damn bts footage) , and Brosnan wasnt riding a harley.
"Motorcycle Championship" why not call out THE Casey Stoner by his name in the title. Probably that will attract more views
Ironically if there was a movie with a guy that just sat on a bike at rest, he’d rate it 10/10
Surprised they didn't mention Torque. Don't recommend anyone watch it unless you like shitty movie nights
He was a true legend in MotoGP, just a shame he retired so young.
:O
Surely a Ford Crown Vic will easily do 350 km/h.The Movies would not lie!
Just give this man billions dollars a year, he will make those happen.
this video is less details. you waste our data. no faith on you and the channel will be blocked. you did this to you.
Follow me home some night on my 2005 Heritage Softail Classic. I'll show you a 4-curve sweeper at 110-120kph that'll make the hair on the back of your neck stand on edge to watch. I could probably take it faster, but I'm getting old.
this is definitely going to cost Casey some championship points.
He called that BMW bike a " Harley or that big bike they're riding", that bike has a boxer engine which can actually be very quiet. They put them in their big adventure bikes for smoothness and comfort. I think he kinda missed the boat on that one.
Other than that it was cool to hear from a real champ, good stuff
Every time he implied the clutch was an ancient technology I got another grey hair
Til: people serious about motoracing.
Steve McQueen didn’t actually do that jump himself (although he wanted to).
TORQUE would have gotten a negative 10 for realism!!!
Just on The Great Escape scene.
Steve McQueen didn’t actually perform the jump, although he wanted to. Stunt rider Bud Deakins did it in the end.
Also there was a little ramp just out of shot put in to help him with the jump.
Think he missed the mark with that James Bond BMW clip. It's pretty clearly a BMW boxer twin (probably 1100 or 1200 given the era of the movie), and it sounds exactly like one. They don't have a big grumble like a V-twin, even if it's a big bike. They don't sound the best but I'm not sure I'd say it sounds like a scooter, either, lol.
T2: They actually did the stunt, but they had cables to slow the decent. But it's T2, c'mon, deserves 10/10 just b/c of what movie it is. Also, the truck going into the drainage scene was 100% real if you could believe that, there's footage of it around from the "making of" DVD's.
Casey Stoner is a Legend! I think is the second best Moto Gp driver behind Valentino Rossi.
Marc Marquez > Casey Stoner
I supposed the title was approved by casey himself, if not.. u really make him unappreciated.
If he wasn't born in Rossi era, he could be the GOAT, one of the member of the fantastic 4 (Rossi, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Stoner), Rossi said that he's the most talented rider, GOAT of Slide , and if it wasn't for retiring in his prime, probably he could beat Mick Doohan, as the best Australian Rider, and you said him a Motorbike champion, you disrespect the legend.
