  1. I am trying with bit different concept this week to get the best things about old school more technical videos and newer compilation type of videos in a same video. Please let me know what do you think about this type of video. I think next time I should take commentary on the workshop but we had a really loud day when I was filming this so I decide to try with voice overs this time.

And this also test how much the intro+outro hurt the viewer retention, the Youtube game isn't getting easier so I have to keep up with the other players on optimizing things 😀

  2. It's not so much the quality of the videos, I'm subscribed and really enjoy all the shows you guys do. The problem is that you hardly ever come up in my feed … I keep getting other rubbish other than what I'm subbed to. So frustrating!

  3. When I was 18, after graduation, I joined the military. I had to do a report on the 100 ton press. My first job as a mechanic was to switch alternators on a jeep bobtail. The directions said I had to ress the pulley back on. Me, being new to the mechanic position I was in, I knew how to press it on. WRONG. I had no idea what was about to happen. I pressed the button, the presser started pressing. BAM… that press completely destroyed that aternator. It pushed the shaft, and 1/4 of alternator through the back of the aternator. Never used it again.

  4. I'm mixed. Sometimes I like the set up and crush and sometimes I like to get right to the action. So I think mix it up! Have videos like this as well as your normal length videos. Couldn't hurt to try it out right?

  5. Lauri, would you press some empty aerosol cans? I'd like to see how much pressure it would take to crush an empty (non punctured) aerosol can and a punctured aerosol can.

  6. I'm usually really excited by these vids, but the chainsaw and grinder ones hurt for some reason

It's like they showed the true futility of fighting The Press
