For the first time, the Supreme Court will hear lawsuits against the Texas abortion law, which makes abortions illegal as early as six weeks into a pregnancy. Linda McClain, a professor of law at Boston University, joins CBSN with more on what to expect.

  1. Abortion will never go away. It's been around since dawn of man.
I just don't want to pay for it.
    It's better to adopt.
    Support the human race.

  2. I don’t understand why the federal government doesn’t intervened in states recreational marijuana laws that are taking the issue away from the federal courts on the supremacy clause. Injunctions on abortion are an issue late on the a challenger to federal supremacy in state legislation and municipal ordinances.

  3. “take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.”

    (Exodus 21:23-25)

  4. Eventually we all die. Some of us will be on a death bed and reflect on our lives. Imagine you worked at a "family planning" clinic and you aided in the termination of thousands of lives. Can't be a good way to go… Any normal person working at such a clinic must go insane over time.

  5. How would men like it if the government told you that if you have more than two children with separate women and the tax payers have to pay for your negligence to support your children than you have to get a vasectomy? Hmmm. We don't want to pay to raise your children because you choose not to use a condemn and then leave the woman for the next and the next. I've always thought we should put this type of law in place because it would save the tax payers' a lot of money. Oh right she could always put the baby up for adoption.

  6. If red states can do this with abortion then blue states can with gun control. And so it goes. No more constitution, congress or Supreme Court. Texas has opened pandoras box. Consequences.
