Probation..
this is all about being able to bear arms and buy weapons in front of your child because it should be gives the wall for you to be able to buy a gun and bring your child that's stupid people these people are coming for all right to bear arms and every other right that comes with it you do see what's going on around the world if you haven't seeing what's going on around the world like in Europe and Australia where the government took their weapons thousands of people are taking to the streets Industrial Area they even have concentration camps score covid you don't even have to test positive to be put in that camp these people want to take their weapons and take every freedom that those weapons to text wake up
If that kid was black you better believe his parents wouldn't be in jail right now and most likely would have a bond like the School shooter in Texas
America’s schools need reform!!
They need a firearm detection dog at every school and anyone entering the school should only be able to enter at one entrance where the dog would be. This would help tremendously.
These Michigan prosecutors had better be charging the school that sent him back to class
I was like 666…. Illuminati Confirmed
How was he allowed to return to class without a search of his bag?????? This could have been avoided long before it got to that point but the mere fact that nobody thought to check his backpack is baffling to me… this is just horrible!

Death to the neW worlD ordeR
Sad that I can’t keep track of all these school shootings over the years. But they’ll continue to happen as long as the public are allowed to buy guns.
School needs to be sued as well since parents refused to take their son home the day before. They allowed him to go back to class knowing the letter he had written/drawing
Makes a drawing like that and they send him back to class. wow!
Well I don't understand is why wasn't State Police called. I'm from Pennsylvania and when someone made a threat in our school districts many times the cops showed up I know hindsights 2020 but if you have someone drawing that stuff in a disturbed search them
Full disclosure, I don’t want our guns taken away. If a parent is negligent in their gun security within the house. Especially if children live with them. Then prosecution should be an option. Unfortunately, although I agree with the theory behind holding parents accountable. I also believe we need to set specific case law. As everyone knows, there’s a potential problem with that attorneys and police abusing this law. It would come at a cost of financial ruin just to prove you’re not guilty. We already know that cops add on crimes to no consequence to the Prosecuting Attorney or police. Adding on bs charges force us hire an attorney, that’s very expensive when you did nothing in the first place. It shows up on your criminal record even after a successful defense and found not guilty. We need to make it difficult to prosecute a parent for that reason. If we don’t use caution, then innocent parents could potentially be arrested for their children crime. Consequently, if your charged for contributing to a child’s crime and there’s little to no evidence and just circumstantial evidence. That can ruin a persons life. Guilty or not, you’ll be scarred.
This is B.S. they should not have any charges.
The teachers and principal should have the save charges
Yes gun owners have a responsibility but so do parents. Make sure your kid gets help if they need it, make sure you get help if you need it. Keeps guns out of the home until you get better.
Seems like this school, SRO, or the parents would have placed this kid in a mental health facility when all those things were found.
Getting a text: “Ethan, don’t do it”
Good talk mum.
The principle guidance counselor and any teachers involved should be charged as well for not at least searching the students back pack.
Why the school didn't send him home with his parents until the 48hours of psych eval
The parents will be convicted. They had the responsibility of making sure their nut of a kid couldn’t get to that gun let alone buying the kid a handgun in the first place. You just don’t do that!
Are we going to start holding the parents of all of these little delinquents responsible now?
HEY
If the crumbles family hadn't been drinking trump's mud in the jar, they might have used common low brow sense. Now they're screwing up gun rights for the responsible. Sure they're complicit, along with the school, for not reacting immediately and pulling him out of class with 2 days of psychological observation.
The school should have not accepted the kid back. Accountability in all areas is real justice…. parents have some responsibility but the school does too. The kids got killed in the school under their supervision.
Did she wink at the reporter at 16:16?
Gun ownership is a privilege, not a right. Stop saying it’s a right. It’s not, nor should it be a right.
The school should be held accountable
It's not illegal to buy and own firearms. These charges are ridiculous and will never stand up in court. The da is a political hack.
She said the words on the page we're changed before the parents saw them.. Were the parents shown the teachers phone photo of it?
Did George Soros fund this DAs campaign?
Nail the school
And the school failed too because they didn’t insist that he opens his backpack?
He made the threat there so that’s their rights
Some issues with what she says: what was the context to the “you need to learn not to get caught” text. She says it’s in relation to the call but I’m sure a jury would need to see the whole thread in context. She also identifies him as “the shooter” when describing events related to the desk drawing that occurred prior to the shooting. She also says that during the parent in-school meeting, the parents failed to ask him if he had “his gun” with him. Can an someone under 18 own a handgun in Michigan? Did they “give him” a gun? Also, parents failed to inspect the backpack that he had with him or the gun he had with him, or both? Are we going to start seeing school staff charged in future shootings for not reporting any unusual behavior? Good god, teachers will now be under such pressure to report up any little thing.
The school should also be to blame why didn't the school stop them knowing basically everything the parents did
I did not send my child to school under the supervisor and protecting of those parents nor the school I guess
Now we know why teachers that supposedly care for the children are not trained in gun control to carry on school grounds
School let it happen all most sounds fake because of the actions the school had lol people are blind
Imagine if those teachers and staff had guns it would of been shut down instead of them cowarding in a class room remember same people get 10 years only on the lie they care for the children school is also to blame
This is those ignorant people who just buy gun bet they also shoot up hills.
I am so glad the parents are being held accountable. But the school is just as much at fault. If we can suspend the kids for chewing gum. We can demand they are suspended immediately and must leave. They can search back packs for drugs but they didn’t search his backpack that day. Schools have got to do better to protect our children.
