I used to make the joke that Die Hard was “my favorite Christmas movie” like 10 or 15 years ago, and then I hadn’t said it in a long time, hell, I nearly forgot about it… and then, like a few years ago, I hear several people say that it is their favorite Christmas movie and acting like they’re really creative and really funny and stuff. I am NOT saying that I came up with the joke, because obviously I didn’t, I AM saying it’s a completely played out thing to say at this point. Any ammo I can use to say that Die Hard is not a Christmas movie makes me happy!

Something else is that after this movie we can see Tony carry this mentality throughout the rest of the mcu in the fact that not only does he wear the suit significantly less while on screen, but a perfect example is in the first Tom Holland spiderman movie when Tom tells Tony that he can't operate without the suit and Tony says "if you're nothing without the suit then you shouldn't have it"
Its gonna be a sad comment but every film set during Christmas is a Christmas film because usually watching it not around Christmas just makes you sad and miss that particular holiday.
