The Americans was being Japanese by kamikaze their butts climbing a wall
For anyone interested, there was a movie released a couple years ago title ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ portraying this story
I personally enjoyed it and I love this story
Desmond Doss was one of the few people who truly followed his religion and the teachings in it. Many people go to church but don't live or act the way god says you should act towards your fellow man. But not Doss. He believed in those words written in his bible. Lived by them. And while I don't personally believe in any sort of god or religion Desmond Doss is a man we can all draw inspiration from and look up to. He's a hero. A true hero.

I saw the whole film, of Hacksaw Ridge, and at the end there was an Interview of the real Desmond Doss …. holy that give me such goosebumps …

This video doesn’t even come close to explaining how incredible this man was. I encourage you to look up the documentary of his life on YouTube. His selflessness is unmatched by anyone else I’ve ever heard of in history.
My birthday is at may7th
Inspiring story. A lot of people know about the Andrew Garfield film based on this, and there is a similar WWI story about Alvin York, which was made into SERGEANT YORK starring Gary Cooper (which he won an Academy Award for). York was initially registered as a conscientious objector, but later fought against the Germans in the battlefield. These two films would make a great double feature.

Doss was living proof of Gods grace blessing a devote man to saving lives instead of taking them. Not many things are as righteous as that… Even saved enemy soliders.

It's a great movie but also violet but I understand why he didn't killed a Japan soldier he also rescued see Japan soldier's
Just think about it. He’s the only man to be awarded the Medal of Honor while having killed no one.

My great grandfather and his group were sent on a suicide mission to take a mountain in Japan they were the Puerto Ricans who fought for the US so basically they were cannon fauder. Funny thing is him and his crew of Puerto Ricans we're able to overpower the Japanese and they all received awards for their part even though my great grandfather died broke and with a bullet hole in his ear from that day. I'm so proud to say that. He was truly a great man and I had the honor of knowing him. He died at the age of 97.

This is the only movie that made me cry
I rewatched Hacksaw Ridge for the first time in awhile. I forgot how incredible it is, I highly recommend more people watch it.
