On paper, Disney’s Tomorrowland should have been a home run. Coming off the success of Pirates of the Caribbean, Tomorrowland was Disney’s next venture in creating a movie franchise based on a theme park attraction. But as Tomorrowlands clunky marketing took off, and audiences didn’t flock to theaters. It was obvious this was a major mistep for Disney, but how did this happen?

What's the biggest movie failure in your opinion?
Also I loved the movie. One of my favorites. Sad it didn’t do better.
I saw it when it came out and didn't hate it. I do think it was a weird movie though.
Never hire Damon Lindelof
In my opinion, Disney seems to really not any effort to most there sci-fi films with the exception of Star Wars and Marvel IP’s. Like it feels as if to them it’s too big of a risk to try anything of the sort.
I remember I watched in it theaters when I was 5 and I fell asleep.
I really loved this movie when it came out. It’s great for kids who never really think of the technical side of things and was easy for me to follow
It just felt empty.
The movie had potential. But it just was boring and I lost interest half way through ..
We saw it when it was released in downtown Disney at the AMC theater. My daughter felt absolutely in love with the movie. She's 12 years old now and is still very much in love with the whole idea of it. So new movies are something that people want. It was a brilliant movie I just think people would rather stay in the make-believe world than work for a better future and any movie that tells them that they have to work for it is doomed to fail. I know lots of people who feel that way about the movie Wall-E as well.
I do own an actual pin of it though lol
I think (TOMORROWLAND) might have a chance at succeeding if it was made into a show series.
Wasn’t there a big Minecraft YouTuber event to advertise this movie??
The worst part of this, the absolute WORST part is that Brad bird could have directed the force awakens, we could have had a good Star Wars sequel . Imagine the potential there.
I remember watching this is middle school. All I remeber was that the relationship with George Clooney and they robots had a weird relationship cause she was a kid… that's all I remember
I remember enjoying the movie for the most part, but utterly forgetting it 5 minutes later.
I never even heard of that movie until right now.
I kinda liked it
"'Lost' creator Damon Lindloff penned the script." Answered the question of why the film failed in the first ten seconds of the video.
I forgot this movie existed
I remember liking tomorrow land
I liked it
This movie was dope af, besides it failing at the box office which I would chop up to bad timing as far as the release goes, I disagree with 99% of this video
I remember barely being able to sit through this movie. It was so boring.
Bro I need your video soundtracks
The movie has a great vison, but it's lacking in focus. It feels like it wasn't given enough time. I still really like the movie though. It always makes me happy.
I was gonna say marketing because i have never heard of this movie and neither has anyone in my family
Come on guys, this movie isn't so bad
Forgettable. The story was too too contrived and overworked
Because Disney can't put anything out that isn't utter flaming garbage.
