Sometimes things are overengineered or maybe under engineered as was the case with the Boirault Machine.

So he made a machine for clearing barbed wire in the middle of a battlefield in the biggest war yet in history, but forgot that the enemy would be shooting at them
Some experiment not work not good it's but some where it's useful
better use tank
It's never what we think.
Which turned out to be the wheels on tanks later
No wonder why the French invented the speedo. LOL
They built it wrong. It should be remote controlled and be a bit faster and smaller. And used before troops arrive at an obstacle. To avoid lag
As usual the “marvellous” french engineering.
How many blankets could you buy with one of these machines??
I few the machine have the possibility to transport supplies, can be more useful
ООО секретные разработки ВСУ подъехали..ну теперь будет перемога)))
Scrapman
Proto-tank.
He's expendable anyway…no need for armour
lol french
So why not just put walls on it?
mmmh armored french blankets
Is this a precursor to tank treds?
Sure a blanket could do that, but that first clip was going over a LOT of barbed wire. Imagine trying to use a blanket for each and every one of those fences
This must have been where the idea for the armored tank came from and put an eternal end to trench style warfare.
Wow!
N this is where the first tank was born
I'm going to drive what where ?
Lol no this was experimental never used in combat
Everyone in this video is dust now
