  1. Well I guess it's because if they are stupid enough to sink the moskva themselves they need the windows to make sure they don't drive into an island I their subs. Second rate military all around.

  2. I’m going to go ahead and say it’s still what I think…because Russian submarines have windows because they’re just worse submarines lmao. They make them significantly less stealthy and easier to spot on sonar, and the Russians just couldn’t figure out how to steer a submarine without windows because they only use WW2 era tech aside from a very select few exceptions.

  3. We call it the lucky tub because if you're lucky the captain will forget you are up there dive the boat and you will freeze to death or drown outside instead of same thing week later inside while rest on bottom sea floor because you you're in russian submarine. We don't make pay. Because Stalin said your reward is coming home alive. This is good job in Russia. No money but food and possibly life maybe.
