Queen Elizabeth II has been on the British throne for 70 years. The official end of the platinum jubilee year was in February, but the real celebrations throughout Great Britain are only kicking off now, for a full four days. Four days of royal pomp and circumstance just aren’t enough for Anita Atkinson, though, who has decorated her house in Weardale, County Durham with thousands of souvenirs relating to the British royal family. They now number over 12,000, more than can fit into her small house – which is why part of it has had to be moved into a small museum.
