Calvin Ramsay stated that seeing how young players Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harvey Elliott have thrived at Liverpool convinced him to join them from Aberdeen on Sunday for an initial cost of £4.2 million ($5.1 million). The 18-year-old was linked with numerous European clubs before settling on a five-year contract with Liverpool that contains £2.5 million in potential add-ons and a 17.5 percent sell-on clause.
Ramsay was named young player of the year by the Scottish writers’ association.
