How Much Harry Potter Experience Can You Fit Into One Day?

25 years ago, the first Harry Potter volume was published. The author of the books, J.K. Rowling lived in Edinburgh when she wrote many of the Harry Potter books. So is the Scottish capital the ultimate Holy Grail for Harry Potter fans? And why is the hype for the city still growing, even though the series has long since concluded? Reporter Hannah Hummel went to Edinburgh to find out why so many Harry Potter fans travel there, and tried to find out how many Harry Potter experiences she could fit into one day.

  1. One of my ancestors, my maternal grandmother's great uncle, in Snedshill, Shropshire, was a wizard. He lived in the latter half of the 19th-century. I have seen a photograph of him and his wife, two respectable looking Victorians dressed in their finery for the occasion of having their picture taken. His field was herbal-based folk medicine. But he was known as a wizard. He was real. He was not a fiction or a collection of stereotypes. He could also cast spells and remove curses, hold seances, and heal through touch. I wrote a novel titled The Fluence about three influencers today, one of whom was based on this ancestor. But that is another story. Cheers.
