  1. No there is no way QR code used to track if you are COVID safe would be used for population control. How dare you? It is to ensure health of the citizens not to lock out dissidents out of basic services.

  2. This is old news in the overseas Chinese community, and many had warned about the healthcode will be used in these manners from when it was first rolled out. Well, it didn't take long.

  3. We need it in the states to control criminals. Just do a comparison between China and US and you will see the benefits out weight the inconvenience.

  4. People must be mentally degenerating at an insane rate to be able to go along with this evil. They deserve what they get, which looks to me like rebranded slavery.

  5. Is China using a Covid app to crack down on dissent? Is water wet?
Would western governments do the same thing? Is water wet?
Power has to be taken from governments. Not given to governments.
They will always become tyrannical. Always.

  6. As if the social credit system isn't already telling . Don't worry tho , the way how China has it , the other countries want to find a way to implement it across the world . It's just the boiling frog is needed where. China was able to bully this through without much resistance . But don't worry it's coming .

  7. In some high/ middle risk areas, People are required to have covid test every 48 hours to update the health QR code if they would like to go around, go shopping or take public transport. Same for some people working in airlines, railway, and other transport industry.

  8. This is a key difference between Chinese media and western ones. DW News uses this acusing title despite it has absolutely no idea whether it is true or not. But they put it out anyway – a 'cheap mouth' practice because if proven wrong it has to eat its own words. Chinese media on the other hand, regardless it's ideology or alleged cover-up, say things only when confirmed. Such practice by western media IS a real problem. If it is interprated as free speech, it is laughable.
